Tour of Michelin Chefs in Moscow

From 20 to 22 of November the Asti Group exhibition company organized in Moscow gastronomic tour of European masters, presenting the best culinary traditions of the most beloved by Russian gourmets countries - France and Italy.
The first, biggest, tasting set, designed for connoisseurs of fine dining of all ranks, was held in an elegant atmosphere of Crocus City Mall, within the frames of the Russian Wine Fair 2012. The culinary art was demonstrated by Michelin-starred Italian chef Tereza Galeone and her French colleague Thierry Schwartz.
Baked veal cheeks prepared by Thierry Schwartz caused a lot of positive feedback from the guests of the tasting set, as well as many inquisitive questions from the professional visitors, chefs of leading Moscow restaurants. The French star did not reveal all his secrets, but showed a truly appreciation of the food products, revealing and gently setting off their unique flavors and aromas. For the spoiled with gastronomic delights and all sorts of programs Moscow public some products have been prepared beforehand in France. Thus, Terri Schwartz in advance prepared a special pistachio cream for a dessert that requires highest quality of all ingredients. Special smoked honey and truffles also got to the plates of our guests directly from Alsace.

For the Italian part of the tasting set was chosen a simple but very tasty dish - pantserotti. It was this pastry stuffed with tomato and mozzarella that won the hearts of the public at a gastronomic festival in the U.S., where Tereza Galeone before her arrival to Moscow represented her country. Russian guests watched with interest the process of preparation of a special dough for pantserotti and despite the fact, that the pies were deep-fried in rich with calories oil, the fair sex that day firmly rejected the diet.

For all those who missed the event on November 20, Michelin star held the evening programs in three Moscow restaurants: “Hugo”, “Le Restaurant” and “Cadrill s omarom”. The menus were even more subtle and varied. The teams of cooks and assistants of these restaurants pleasantly surprised foreign visitors with their professionalism, so all parties agreed to continue the evenings of European gastronomy in 2013.
